Flor Patisserie, Singapore

While walking around Takashimaya's underground food court. I saw Flor Patisserie. I screamed (not really.) I knew about this place from Lady Iron Chef's blog . What grabbed my interest is that Flor Patisserie is opened by a Japanese patisser.
me is big fan of japanese thingo

So, I grabbed a dessert from Flor Patisserie and with the Japanese influences, Wakakusayma, a green tea swiss roll with red bean cream, will be the victim.

Wakakusayma (S$7.30)

I have to say, This. Is. Good. Its. Really. Good. Is the best swiss roll I ever eaten in my life so far.
I'm a big fan of matcha, and red bean paste.
(but I don't drink red bean soup)
And this dessert contains 2 of my favourite matcha and red bean! Couldn't ask for more.

I can clearly taste the bitter yet sweet matcha from the roll and the red bean paste took it to the next level.
I love the red bean cream. The creamy smooth red bean cream, sweet but not extremely sweet.

Best swiss roll ever ;) I will definitely go to there proper cafe instead of eating in a food court ;)

  2. Woah! I'm really loving the template/theme of this website. It's simple, yet effective. A lot of times it's very hard to get that "perfect balance" between superb usability and appearance. I must say you have done a great job with this. In addition, the blog loads extremely fast for me on Internet explorer. Exceptional Blog!
