Garden by the Bay, Singapore

Garden by the Bay is a must go when you're visiting Singapore. As its name says, is a huge garden by the bay. We only walked through part of the garden, through the Indian and Chinese garden. We will definitely pay another visit to visit the Super Trees as we didn't make it to the Super Tree Grove because we didn't have enough time.

There are 2 observatory domes, the Flower dome and Cloud Forest. The rest of the garden are free admission, but not these 2 domes. You'll understand why you have to pay for it once you pay a visit to the dome. Both 2 domes are air conditioned which is a relief for us. We were half dead walking through the outdoor garden trying to get to the domes :/ nice weather, but it was too freaking hot.

Heading to the Flower dome

My boy got our tickets to both of the domes online along with an admission to the Singapore Flyer (click here to check out my trip to the Flyer), its cheaper than the regular price.
Admission to both domes will be S$28 for foreigners and S$20 for locals.

All pictures were taken with my 1.5 years Xperia Arc phone ;)

 Flower Dome

Flower Dome mainly breeds plants from the mediterranean and semi-arid subtropical regions.

It is really important to check the website about the maintenance date and the recent events so that you don't get disappointed and missed out various event happening in the domes. The flowers in the domes were maintained and changed throughout the season. We found out there is a Tulip Mania event happening later in the week and the workers were planting Tulips imported from Holland. We will missed out the event anyway because I will be leaving Singapore when the event is happening.

Heading towards the Cloud Forest
If you are planing to make a visit to both domes, visit the Flower Dome first. The exit of Flower dome leads to the entrance of Cloud Forest.

Cloud Forest is amazing! I loved it! Though is not as happening as the Flower dome, it does have its uniqueness. Cloud Forest is trying to mimic the environment in high mountains, breeding rare plants that will not be seen on the ground.

Make your way to the highest point by taking the lift and slowly make your way down using the trails.

There is a Crystal Mountain floor where you can see interesting shapes of real stalactites and stalagmites.

Stalagmites

Cloud Forest, Waterfall and Orchid, which is super rare and expensive in Australia
I believe Orchids are very hard to breed as well. At least my orchid plant takes ages to grow.

The Lost World

I think Flower dome and Cloud Forest are worth the money and worth the visit! It is air conditioned so you can take a break in the domes from the outdoor garden.

And while we are making our way out of the garden after our visit to both Flower dome and Cloud Forest, we saw this,

Floating Baby out of no where looks kinda creepy ..

I read the informations displayed but I forgot what it does or what meaning does it have..

And this conclude our visit to the Garden by the Bay. I will definitely go back to finish up the rest of the garden!
